Our annual Pumpkin Parade on 26 October was a very enjoyable and well-attended event. Around 200 people came, many of them families with children. There were competitions for carved pumpkins in three categories – funniest; most artistic; and scariest – and 48 carved pumpkins were entered for these competitions. There were also competitions for home-made fancy dress for children. There were some excellent carved pumpkins, and very creative and imaginative fancy dress.
